My Genealogy Search has been created as a low entry cost community venture to support and collate all of the smaller Britain & Ireland genealogy research services into one definitive high profile online search facility.

My Genealogy Search is a fully owned operating division of Travel Match Ltd Travel Match Ltd is a leading UK specialist online travel marketing consultancy business that operates a series of high profile online travel, lifestyle and leisure divisions.The group is headquartered in Richmond - upon - Thames, Surrey, UK, with the HQ location chosen as its operating base due to the close proximity of the PRO (Public Records Office) in nearby Kew.

Whilst the company operating expertise is primarily in marketing online travel and leisure, our interest in genealogy has resulted in the creation of specific "niche" travel services for the genealogy and family history research market. This is reflected in our specialist Ancestor Travel operating division, along with our other supporting Britain & Ireland Travel Search Engine for comprehensive travel and toureism information for UK and Ireland.

Tony Gurnick
Director of Development

Tony’s career in IT spans over 15 years. He is an experienced and senior project developer with an extensive background both with the Internet as well as many other corresponding technologies, and also has a keen interest in learning and experiencing new technologies. Tony has also worked in a variety of public facing industries including Special Events, Travel and Tourism, Advertising, Publishing and the Dairy industry. Tony founded and ran a very successful Internet Web Hosting and Web design business in NZ, before moving to the UK and London in April 2005 to take up the position of Development Director with Travel Match Ltd.

Tony has extensive network and administration experience having scoped, designed and built various web projects including large intranets and web sites, as well as being an expert in the development of database driven web based applications. Tony also has experience with the following applications: Object Oriented PHP, CGI, MS SQL, mySQL, JavaScript, J2EE, C, HTML, CSS, ASP.NET, T-SQL, & VBScript, as well as Cold Fusion, Dreamweaver, Homesite, Front Page, NOF and Photoshop.

In his spare time (not much!) Tony is an advanced BJJ & Judo exponent, and also enjoys Mountain Bike riding wherever possible.

As Managing Director of Travel Match Ltd, Graeme holds the overall responsibility for all operating divisions including My Genealogy Search, Ancestor Travel & the Great Britain & Ireland Travel Bureau. Graeme's tourism career spans over 25 continuous years, with extensive senior executive travel and tourism management experience. Previous executive appointments held include senior managerial positions in Australian Airlines (now Qantas) United Airlines, Owner/Managing Director of Pacifica Holidays (Australia), Director of Marketing for Sheraton Mirage (Australia), and co-founder and Managing Director of Travel Online (Australia & UK) Graeme has extensive senior business and company directorship experience in both the UK and Australian travel and tourism markets, as well as being a global pioneer of specialised online travel and tourism operating services.
